Hey Fellow Traders , was a Big Surprise Getting ill Thursday Night, and what a day to miss! Sorry to say that i am still out of Commission and Bedridden. I wont be able to do the show tomorrow but plan to put out The 10 for 1000 Watch List on Sunday. The Cash close contest will be open for tomorrow as usual.Futures will be up on Friday also as usual.

Market conditions definitely calls for caution at this point, Right now everything pointing to a measured move back down inside the current channel. But at these pivot area there is the most danger as the stochastics becomes less reliable to to the possibility of continued strength that will be hard to measure. Right now the SDS hedge is working, but will lock in profits soon. Best bets for the week, I would love trade the bounce on INTC (see next video) Also Looking to buy the pull back in WU, and Watch the potential inverted slanted head and shoulders in PBR. The Next Video will spotlight very strong stocks that have been consistently showing strength

Back in the Saddle Again. Update on Market Condition

Well got back today in time to see the real follow through in the markets that was squashed the day before, Technicals are holding up nice and the lower trend line, Reversal candle stick and oversold stochastics played there part to the tee with the $S&P rallying 274 points. Tomorrow morning we have US Initial Jobless Claims, Continuing Claims, Canada May New Housing Price Index all at 8:30am. Will we sell off into the expected bad numbers or rally as if it was priced into the markets? If i knew this for sure well you know the saying.. What i do know is that a falling wedge pattern is developing in the markets and I am not ready to call for a break up out of this bullish pattern I am will to say there are no signal to say sell yet and this rally could easily get help from the Financials. One stock i didn't cover tonight was GS and this is really shaping up for a momentum break higher You can View Watch list and market Outlook video below.

Watch List Update Couple Changes

I just notice that the charting program I am using out here is set up a little different from what I have back in NY and a couple of the watch list triggers are off and I mentioned a 52 week high that was off. I corrected these on the watch list on the site, Just go by those triggers and remember this if you see a difference in the triggers from the watch list and the video.. Hope everyone is staying cool and having a great 3 day weekend and a wonderful 4th of July, I put in some good research and have a very complete watch list for this week, A lot of the stocks could and probably will be in play for the next couple weeks so keep them on your radar. There are also safety plays that are moving to new 52 week highs in this downturn int he markets. This week there could be extremely light volume as traders are still on vacation) I am also about to send out a one more detailed video outlining 2 scenarios in the overall markets. I will be attempting to broadcast from out here in Oregon for the first few hours tomorrow before I head to the airport to fly back to NY. It will be interesting to see how it works out. In either case Wednesday back to normal. see you in the markets!

Best Bets for the weeks

Drillers are starting to get a change of momentum. I Love DO, and HOS in that sector

QCOM first time looking at it in a long time looks like all the ingredients are there for a bounce

ROVI Interesting new set up that i will keep a close eye on.

CVLT currently holding and will look for that 52 week break out coming

This weeks watch list is more of an educational video as the market could be setting up for a reversal of last weeks pull back. On the S&P cash chart seen below Last Monday was a clear sell signal as the stochastics crossed over to the down side, We are still in a very bearish trend on the daily chart, but have bounce into a short term buy on the 60 min chart leaving us with the Spinning Top Candle on Friday (

Spinning top is a Japanese candlesticks pattern with a short body found in the middle of two long wicks. A spinning top is indicative of a situation where neither the buyers nor the sellers have won for that time period, as the market has closed relatively unchanged from where it opened; the market is indecisive regarding its trend. The upper and lower long wicks, however, tell us that both the buyers and the sellers had the upper hand at some point during the time period the candle represents. When a spinning top forms after a run up or run down in the market, it can be an indication of a pending reversal, as the indecision in the market is representative of the buyers losing momentum when this occurs after an uptrend and the sellers losing momentum after a downtrend.)

The Stochastics have me worried the most and I will not be cautious until we see the cross over confirming a buy signal

I will be leaving the office today around 12 noon for the weekend Markets are stuck a tight channel and grinding around and slowly lower, I have a lower target on the lower trend line that started overnight on Sunday This target will adjust with the trend line, but of right now looking for a possible move down to 1060-1065 on the SPX

Some Stocks that I really like on this market bounce of the lower trend line and stocks that are on my focus list

HD setting Up in a Higher Probability Zone

Starting a very small position in HD based on a multiple indicator set up Lower channel line converging with the 200 ema. Stochastics are also in a very strong falling wedge. This would be considered a higher probability set up. Small scale in in this market pull back.

- European investors seem more concerned than US peers. A two-week marketing
trip through European investment centers found a deep sense of concern spanning
the continent, given budget imbalances, debt burdens, widening credit spreads,
bank capital requirements and currency woes. Intriguingly, many fund mangers
appeared almost unwilling to consider a market turnaround at this juncture, as
equity market weakness is contributing to a feeling of helplessness and last Friday’s
sharp sell-off damaged the hope mindset.

- Sentiment indicators already have turned positive for US equities. The key
Panic/Euphoria Model now is clearly embedded in “panic” territory, yielding a near
90% chance of a higher S&P 500 index in six months and a 97% probability of
gains in the next 12 months, but it does not necessarily argue for strength this
summer. Interestingly, simple net bullishness surveys yield a roughly random
outcome looking out over the next six months that is statistically insignificant.

- Valuation is being cited as a rationale for stepping up to the market. A few
investors believe that there is a price at which investors should buy stocks but at
the same time appear unwilling to step up even as valuation improves. Talk of an
M&A surge has dropped off markedly and the desire to find “micro” investment
themes has dissipated as well. Thus, a growing feeling of frustration has developed
as portfolio managers now worry about a renewed economic slump, a substantive
reversal from our April client survey in which 85% of respondents suggested that a
double dip was off the table. However, our analysis argues for no double dip.

- Far less client pushback can be discerned versus even two weeks ago. When
discussing concerns about earnings estimate revision trends and waning US
economic momentum, many investors highlighted reasons to buy the dips two
weeks ago, but that conviction has deteriorated meaningfully, with more willing to
buy into our summer doldrums view. However, they seem far less convinced that
there is another rally coming later this year given anxiety about the impact of
austerity measures and the weaker Euro on reported profits by 4Q10.

- Earnings and equity markets are highly correlated. Since seasonal factors are likely
to be in place this year, the typical third quarter earnings sequential slide is
probable thereby limiting a quick turn in the stock market, especially as cyclical
trends support restraints on upside margin surprise potential. Nonetheless,
indications of fiscal responsibility could be the trigger for a market bounce starting
in the September/October time frame.

Morning Focus INTC 200 ema is 20.60 area would look at taking shares off there if not earlier, RDY taking some profits this morning on any gap, on the es (S&P Futures) we will open up near resistance 1066-1069 looking for a pullback to 1061 area if that happens looking to go long.
