One of the best books i ever read on pattern recongition and high probablity trades. It Is the first book i recommend for people interested in charting. The price of this book takes alot of people by surprise, but the material covered and the profit potential (and my personal opinon..the reliable setups are the best out there) outweighs that negative greatly.
* Stepping In Front Of Size -- You will be taught how to identify when a large institution is desperately attempting to buy or sell a large block of stock. You will then be taught how to step in front of this institution before the stock explodes or implodes. This strategy leads to gains from 1/4 point to 4 points within minutes.
* 1-2-3-4s -- Rapidly moving stocks tend to pause for a few days before they explode again. You will be taught the three day set-up that consistently triggers 4-15 point gains within days!
* Expansion Breakouts --Most breakouts are false! You will learn the one breakout pattern that consistently leads to further gains. This pattern alone is worth the price of the manual!
* Creating The Daily Hit List -- You cannot make money in stocks that are not moving! You will learn the powerful method that identifies which stocks to trade on a daily basis. You will be taught how to recognize which stocks are rapidly moving and which set-ups to use to trade them. This knowledge assures you of being in the correct stocks everyday.
* Also, you will learn how to trade market explosions (Boomers), how to trade secondary offerings, how to trade Slingshots, and you will learn a number of other profitable strategies that will make you a superior trader.
The follow up version of the classic, I feel the charts here are a little more complex, but overall it is a great addition to the library as it does cover some great set ups, including how to trade using Level 2.

In these absorbing interviews with star performers in the financial markets, Schwager ( Market Wizards ) humanizes the mechanics and psychology behind billion-dollar daily world trading in such sophisticated instruments as currencies, stock options, commodity futures, and mutual-fund accounts by individuals, investment firms and group-trading computerized "money machines." One trader focuses on market response to news events, another calculates mathematical probabilities--one even cocks an ear to the noise level on the exchange floor. All rank assiduous research, self-confidence, a specific plan and the courage to cut losses among essentials to success. Few consider their work gambling, but Schwager entertainingly argues that a successful trader needs many of the qualities of a good poker player. Though the subject matter is esoteric, there is much here to attract the general reader, and Schwager appends a "primer" of technical basics.

I came across this book at the Traders Expo years ago, I always find myself referring back to it as a great reference, I am sorry i haven't put this book up here earlier. The book contains basically a notebook of real time trades from a successful trader Barry Rudd. The best part of the book is how the trades are broken down from best probability to least with real time market charts with the traders annotations. It has the meat and potatoes where a lot of books just try to sell themselves on basic material that can be found anywhere. As this is a rare book, i did find it available on Amazon. It is worth moving to the top of my list ,but i don't want to deal with all the code of changing the webster so if you got down this far you found a gem. A must have for because the chart patterns here are the real deal. I seen so many fake books on the market, I wonder why there are not more real trader notebooks out there for purchase.
